Forever Teresa Teng 30th – Anniversary Charity Symphony Concert is jointly presented by the Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Orchestra Charity Limited, Lions Clubs D303 Hong Kong & Macau, China, and the Hong Kong Design Institute, with full support from the Hong Kong Teresa Teng Fan Club. The concert will take place on 5 May 2025 at 8 PM at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall.
We come together to honour Teresa Teng, the Queen of Asian Pop, whose voice continues to resonate across generations. Through performances of her most beloved songs, we celebrate her enduring spirit and rekindle treasured memories that live on in the hearts of many.
Taking centre stage is Wang Jing from Beijing, the acclaimed lead actress of the original Chinese musical Love U, Teresa! Crowned Best Asian Actress in Musical Theatre at the 5th Daegu International Musical Festival in Korea, she has captivated audiences in over 300 performances across China and enchanted fans worldwide with solo concerts in Europe, the US, Singapore, and Malaysia. Sharing the spotlight is Stacey Long, the 2019 Grand Champion of CCTV’s Avenue of Stars, whose voice has graced the stage of China Media Group’s Spring Festival Gala. She also won Audience’s Favourite Voice on Hong Kong TVB’s hit show Midlife, Sing & Shine!
The concert features the Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Orchestra, an acclaimed group that has won three prestigious awards at international music festivals in Belgium and the Netherlands, as well as the title of Hong Kong’s Most Outstanding Youth Symphony Orchestra. The concert also welcomes special guest performers, including nearly 100 young singers from the Hope Through Music Children’s Choir, trained at the Vienna Boys Choir Music Academy Hong Kong, as well as the Bauhinia Women’s Choir, gold medalists at the inaugural Hong Kong International Choral Festival, and the winner of the Teresa Teng Singing Contest hosted by the Hong Kong Design Institute.
This promises to be an unforgettable evening. With talented singers and guest performers bringing to life the beloved songs of Teresa Teng, the concert hall will echo with her timeless presence, leaving Teresa Teng's fans and all attendees with lasting memories of joy and celebration!
